First Street will be closed to vehicles from Elm St. to Ivy St. at 3 pm until the parade is over.
Parade registration is open and the most creative entry wins the title of "Best Float" and a gift card to one of our local restaurants. - To be judged by the Chamber Board Members.

Parade Rules:
No throwing candy from floats - for the safety of attendees, please do not throw candy or other items from your float. If you wish to hand something out, please do so along the crowd line to avoid patrons running out toward the moving vehicles in the parade.
Entries should be lit up - after all, it is the Parade of Lighted Floats! Have fun decorating your entry with holiday lights so it can be seen. The parade will take place after dark so the more lights the better.
Animal entries must be accompanied by a clean up person.
Floats must return to the initial staging area by following Elm Street to E. Frontage Road and Kingwood Street to safely disassemble, have minors picked up by parents, etc. Please do not block roadways by doing this elsewhere! Traffic control is key to making this a safe event for all.
Please do not include a Santa or The Grinch in your entry. Both will be attending the parade and we don't want to cause confusion for children!
No vulgar language or offensive displays allowed.
Kalama Chamber reserves the right to refuse any entry or limit the number of entries.
Entries should be submitted no later than November 30th 2025. Late entries may be added if space allows. Do NOT show up without registering and receiving your confirmation email with parade instructions!
