Mark Kelley and Debbie Peterson, opened Kalama Spirits & Tobacco last fall. Debbie has lived in Kalama for 13 years and felt that it was a great idea to open in the location that was previously the State liquor store.

Kalama Spirits & Tobacco carries liquor, beer, wine, mixers, hunting and fishing license, tackle, bait, ammo, chew, cigarettes, and various pipe and roll your own tobaccos. They have kegs, party supplies, firewood, and snack items.

They have recently added milk, eggs & other dairy products, and they will order other items at their customers’ request.  Debbie says, “We are all about the people in Kalama.  We built our business around their requests, and we plan to continue that. We are open to any suggestions!”

They also carry “Growlers” a ½ gallon refillable bottle that may be filled with a variety of beers on tap. This gives the consumer a variety of beers, available only on tap in taverns in the past, to purchase for home consumption.
