Our Chamber Event chairperson has asked if we can have the All City Howl-o-ween on Friday, October 29^th this year, as a good number of the businesses aren’t open on Saturday and even fewer on Sunday. Please make a note of this and pass the email flyer around to your friend and customer database when we send it out in the near future.

Please note Friday, Oct. 29^th from 3-6pm the streets downtown will be closed for trick-or-treater’s!

Following is a brief summary of the upcoming Best Business Practices Series event on October 21^st from 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. sponsored by the Small Business Development Center and the Business & Industry Department of Lower Columbia College.

The CJAC is an amazing center that is solely focused on protecting children and making sure that their voice is heard when things go very badly in their lives.

Aug 13-15 – All City Garage Sale. Get your stuff out and sell, sell, sell!

Aug 15 – Hot Rod and Custom Car Show 9am – 3pm. We are expecting 400 + cars this year, please come down and see them.

Sep. 11th – Art Event  9:30-5 pm. Kid’s workshops, classes in various shops. Flyers can be picked at the Garden Gate Floral and Gift.

It is time to think again about advertising in the Embrace Kalama newsletter, which is distributed to all and everyone within the 98625 zip code.

Payments and ads for our third issue of 2010 are due by August 05, with the newsletter to come out in the first half of September. The money owed is to cover printing and mailing, all the work in putting this together is done by volunteers. Fro you, there is no more efficient and effective form of advertising available, and that for only $65! If the money involved is an issue, you can always share your ad with another business . Find a complementary business, design your ad together and hand over the proper payments and ad as one.
